Ms. Ashley Thomas

Ashley Thomas joined the Cooper Dual Language Academy staff in 2007 as a Kindergarten teacher. This is her eighth year as a teacher at Cooper and her tenth year as a Chicago Public School teacher. Ms. Thomas has taught preschool through third grade. Ms. Thomas believes that social emotional learning is the foundation for academic success!

Ms. Thomas earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education at Illinois State University in 2005. She received her English as a Second Language endorsement in 2015 from Concordia University. In her free time, Ms. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
