Ms. Maricruz Rodriguez

Maricruz Rodriguez is currently a 4th grade teacher. In the ten years that she has been teaching at Cooper Dual Language Academy, she has also taught second grade and third grade. She believes that learning is a team effort, and tries to find ways to keep students engaged in order to continue their learning.


Mrs. Rodriguez is a proud CPS alumni. Growing up in the Pilsen neighborhood, she attended the neighborhood schools. She obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Loyola University, with an area of concentration in Math, Science, and Spanish. She later obtained her Master of Art Degree at Concordia University in Reading Specialist. She is a proud mother of two, and loves to spend time with her family.
