Ms. Ruth Pena

Ruth Pena joined the Cooper Dual Language Academy staff in 2011 as a preschool teacher Assistant.This is her 5th year as a teacher at Cooper, and her 12th year in the early education field. Mrs. Pena believes that all children are capable a great things. She believes school should be a happy fun place to learn and discover new things.

Mrs.Pena earned an associates degree in early education at St. Augustine College. She continued her education and is a couple of classes away from her Bachelor's degree. In her free time she likes to spend with her family, caring for her 6 kids doing fun stuff as a family. She likes to help her kids with homework, take them to various after-school programs and just relax.
