My name is Ana Aracely Grimaldo; I joined the Cooper Dual Language Academy staff in 2008 as a Teacher Assistant in the Head Start Program. This is my eighteenth year as a Teacher Assistant in Chicago Public Schools. I would like to continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a challenging and fun learning environment for all my students. I enjoy working in the area of early childhood because children are very sincere and very interested in learning, and always ready to learn from the teacher and from each other.
I earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development at St. Augustine College. In addition, I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sciences at Illinois State University. I am in the process to continuing working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education as well as an endorsement in early childhood Education. For my hobbies; I love gardening, watching movies, dancing and exercising by doing Zumba.
