Lilia Cerritos joined the Cooper Dual Language Academy staff in 2001. She has taught first and fourth grade. Currently, she teaches 3rd grade. This is her fifteenth year as a teacher at Cooper, and she taught three years previously in a suburb. Mrs. Cerrito’s believes all students can become successful learners and that there are no predetermined limits to what students can accomplish at any age.
Mrs. Cerritos earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree from Northeastern Illinois University. In her free time, Mrs. Cerritos enjoys accompanying her children to their soccer games/tournaments, being surrounded by family, and creating crafts.
